Isaiah 40:29-31
How many times have I reminded myself of these words when up against it in unknown territory, battling up a mountain, and in those moments when I am simply struggling in life? Life can bring us all to our knees.
But I always remember this great truth: a person is never as tall as when he is on his knees before the Lord. And the person who kneels before God can stand up to anything. So, wait on God faithfully and quietly. Let Him restore you, reenergize you, and empower you to face everything you need to do.
“You will fill me with joy in your presence”
Psalm 16:11
