We live in extraordinary times. There is so much good in the world but so much bad as well. If ever there was a need for men and women of faith to shine the light of hope, love, and truth on the world around them – it is now.
Jesus knew the days would get dark, far into the future. After He had been brutally whipped to within an inch of His life, Jesus was marched to the place of crucifixion. As He stumbled under the weight of the cross He was carrying, some women started weeping for Him. Jesus turned and gently told them not to cry (Luke 23:28). He wasn’t being overly dramatic. He simply knew what was coming. He knew that truly tough times lay ahead for the world.
"The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" (John 14:26)
The great truth for how to live is quite simple: know that you are not alone, know that you are loved beyond all reason, and live with Christ’s generosity overflowing through you.
